Come ogni "Expo" che si rispetti, anche il Gamescom ha messo a disposizione dei premi speciali per i protagonisti della rassegna tedesca, che si concluderà ufficialmente e definitivamente il 9 Agosto prossimo.
Il vero dominatore è stato sicuramente Star Wars Battlefront, che non solo si è aggiudicato il premio di migliore gioco in assoluto ma che è riuscito a portarsi a casa altri 4 premi specifici. Buoni però anche i risultati ottenuti da MGS V, Super Mario Maker e Forza Motorsport 6, mentre PES 2016 vince il "derby" con FIFA 16.
